During the Kevin Coyne Tribute concerts and before the next "Before
We Forget Tour" 2010 with Bruno Deneckere,
Brendan has given one solo concert in café @Juka's in Hamme, Belgium. Jürgen
Heuvinck has tried many times to get Brendan in his "beer, roots- and
culture" café and at last he succeeded.
Because Brendan wasn't in Belgium on 11-11, he now played the tracks from his "Essential Protest Songs" book. This book
contains 40 "protest" songs and Brendan asks a person from the audience to
pick up a number between 1 and 40. Brendan connects the
tracks to each other with his jokes and anecdotes.
Brendan raises funds for The Royal British Legion for The
Poppy Appeal.
Also he had 20 slates to sell for charity reasons.
Finally Brendan played, outside the "EPS book" "Feel Like
Goin' Home", a special request from Jürgen.
Brendan played the
following tracks from his "EPS book":
